4.2 Information we collect automatically
When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8), including your IP address, browser type and version, device information, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, and how you navigate the site. This is collected primarily through Google Tag Manager and the analytics services it manages.

4.3 Information from third parties
If you interact with us through our social media pages (Facebook or Instagram) or via WhatsApp, we may receive information made available to us by those platforms in accordance with their own privacy settings and policies.
We do not intentionally collect special personal information (such as information about your health, religion, race or political views) or the personal information of children through our website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact our Information Officer so that we can remove it.

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you when you complete a form, send us an email, call us, or message us on WhatsApp or social media;
  • automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you browse our website; and
  • from third parties such as social media platforms where you have engaged with us through them.

We process personal information for the following purposes:

• to respond to your enquiries and provide you with quotations;
• to provide, manage and deliver the products and services you request, including safety consulting, PPE and supplies, embroidery, plant hire, tools and machinery, cleaning and maintenance, and construction services;
• to manage our relationship with you as a client or prospective client, including administration, invoicing and customer support;

• to protect our legitimate business interests, including the security of our website and the prevention of fraud.

We process your personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so under POPIA. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • Consent – where you have given us your consent (for example, by submitting an enquiry form or opting in to receive marketing);
  • Performance of a contract – where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested or to perform a contract with you;
  • Legal obligation – where we are required to process information to comply with the law; and
  • Legitimate interests – where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, provided these are not overridden by your rights and interests.

Some of the third parties we use (for example, Google and Meta/WhatsApp) may store or process personal information on servers located outside of South Africa. Where we transfer your personal information across borders, we will only do so in accordance with Section 72 of POPIA — that is, where the recipient is subject to laws or binding agreements that provide an adequate level of protection, where you have consented, or where the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract or in your interest.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Information Officer using the details in Section 3. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

We will only send you electronic marketing communications (such as email or SMS) where you have consented to receive them, or where you are an existing customer and the communication relates to similar products or services, as permitted by Section 69 of POPIA. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the communication.

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as required to comply with our legal, regulatory, accounting or contractual obligations. When information is no longer required, we will securely delete or de-identify it.

We are committed to securing your personal information against loss, damage, and unauthorised access or disclosure. In line with Section 19 of POPIA, we maintain appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of personal information in our possession or control. In the event of a security compromise affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by law.
